$9,060 Donated to Date to 1% for the Planet Environmental Partners!

Geek Girl Tech has been certified as a 1% for the Planet member for three years now with over $9,060 in donations. These donations benefit environmental partners certified through 1%. 

This past year was our best year yet and we supported 7 organizations with both in-kind and monetary donations. Check out some of the organizations we chose to partner with.

Pollinator Posse

Mission: The Pollinator Posse creates and encourages pollinator-friendly landscaping and fosters appreciation of local ecosystems through outreach, education, community science and habitat creation. With eco-friendly landscape techniques at the heart of our work, we teach respect for the creatures which keep Northern California — and the world — blooming.

Monetary Donations

Geek Girl Tech needed to donate a certain amount of money to meet our certification goals for 2022 – we split the amount upon our full and part-time staff, allowing each person to choose an organization or two to donate to.
