Security Tips for Social Media
- Complete a privacy checkup to help review your current settings
- Change your friends list to private under How People Find & Contact you in your privacy settings.
- View As: Did you know you can see what your profile looks like to the public eye? Head to your profile, click the ellipses above “Whats on your mind?”, and click View As.
- Make sure 2FA is turned on
- Change your account to private (mostly for personal accounts)
- Change posts settings to “Manually approve posts when you are tagged in them“, instead of them being automatically added.
